Depending on YOUR needs for this pencil. You may not need it, you may want it, just because everyone else has one or wants one because it’s a newer version. But overall, it’s a good pencil, but if you don’t have the right iPad Pro for it, it will not work for you. And if you feel it will work for you, go for it! Look deep and ask yourself if it’s needed for what you want to accomplish. Or just wanted to be part of the crowd that has one.

Please try again later.You don't need this pencil, however it is a option to have if you take notes, or need to markup a photo, jot down notes just like you would for a grocery list. There are so many apps for this pencil, and different things you can do. I personally only use this pencil for very basic things like taking notes, using those coloring apps at night to relax, jotting down my grocery list, etc., that being said it was worth every penny and i am so glad i bought it. It actually comes in very handy when you would least expect. But like i said it all depends on what you think you might use it for? If you are debating between this one or a knock off hands down spend the money for this product, but if this is just a splurge item you are thinking about buying then i would still recommend buying it, i think you would actually use it more than you think. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You don't NEED it for use with the iPad Pro 11-in 1st/2nd Gen or iPad Pro 12.9-in 3rd/4th Gen, but it's a great companion tool. I use it for note taking and general use. It also keeps fingerprints off of the screen, which is great.
