Folks are saying this phone is only GSM compatible--how do you know? Where did you get that info? All the other iPhones I've seen are compatible with both GSM and CDMA. null

It may and it may not work. I never used a cdma phone in a while .
But I know Verizon uses both so that will work not sure about sprint.. since u have to activate the sim card to the iPhones imei.. un-like GSM phones the service is the sim card. Not the actual phone..

It depends what network you're on. If you buy a Sprint phone, it is CDMA. If you buy Verizon/ATT/T-Mobile, it's GSM. If you buy an unlocked version, I believe you may have the option of both. Not 100% sure.
