• Depending on what you’re referring to by “channel” you can go back a screen or action within an app with the white circumscribed menu button until there are no more menus to back out of, then it will take you to the home screen, which you could get to in one step by pressing the TV icon button.

• i found out myself through trial and error that if you press the top of the remote (the enter button) and hold for a second or two, that acts as a previous channel button.

• Not really but you have ability to view 4 screens at once. Once there you can quickly switch to full screen on any of the four.
