Yes. This device will work on any TV with an HDMI input. The picture will not be in 4K. I would recommend buying the standard Apple TV 4th Gen, unless you plan on upgrading your TV in the near future.

You can plug n play the AppleTV 4K unit to any television with an HDMI port yet, the AppleTV does not readily connect to USB.
The setup is easy and the user will be prompted to use an iPhone, or screen input.

It connects to your tv using an HDMI cable. I think the only other ports on the Apple TV are Ethernet and the power cord plug in.

You can use it on any tv with an HDMI outlet. I don’t own a 4K TV and it still works. USB? Not sure. There is not outlet behind the Apple TV 4K module. I’m not sure about what your using the USB outlet on your TV for.
