• Yes. I have used my Apple TV while on business trips for streaming in my hotel room. I connect with my cell phone hot spot and it works perfectly for streaming all media.

• This question could mean more than one thing. If you mean streaming by connecting to a Verizon Wireless hotspot for your wifi the answer is yes. If you mean using the airplay capability from your Apple iPhone you must connect both the phone and the Apple TV to the same wifi connection to stream and therefore may not be a Verizon cellular data connection unless they are both connected to a Verizon wireless hotspot.
