I have tried 2 different gen 5 iPads and with my wired headphones do not work when connected to the new C-Port. They work on my older iPad with headphone jack. I do not like using wireless headsets. Anyone else having this problem ? null

My wired headphones worked fine on my iPad Air 5 using the Apple cable also the mic in my headphones worked too.

I have a new iPad mini.  I got an inexpensive Sony ear pieces headphone, used this Apple adapter and the worked fine when using them on a SW airlines flight (airplane mode)  2 weeks ago.
