“How close does your phone have to be near this watch in order for the Bluetooth work ?”

I can leave my phone upstairs and Bluetooth works anyplace in the house, front and back yard.

For me I have been able to be across the room, but likely depends on Bluetooth signal strength and any interference where you are.

I’ve had mine out to 30 to 40 ft and in a closed room away from the phone.

Not Very Close. After the initial setup you can move away almost 50 -60 meters away( Even more with no obstacles Such as Thick walls). Within the house, I had no issues getting iphone notifications to the watch even I leave the watch on my bedroom it still works when Im in living room watching TV.
