You can only display them via an application (If they offer one on the Watch App Store). If you do not own a model that has an Always on Display (like a Series 5 or 6), then it would make it difficult to see the app working as you would have to raise your wrist or tap the screen constantly. Because the watch has GPS, it would be very accurate. If the app requires cellular service, your phone needs to be in range. I hope I helped answer your question.
