That depends on what kind of Apple Watch you have. If it’s the gps version all you need is your iPhone and you’re all set to go. If it’s the LTE version you will need to activate it with your carrier.

Yes you will need a separate line if you were trying to utilize your whites separately. I have Verizon but I always have an issue with the watch connecting separately. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. I’ve gone to Verizon several times.

Only if you purchase the cellular + gps version of the watch. If you want to be able to use the watch as a phone when your iPhone is not around, you must contact your phone carrier to add the line. The cost per month varies across different providers.

Not if it’s just the gps version. If you get the cellular one then you do need to activate it with a carrier just like a phone.
