The watch will have like the start up set up when you first get your watch, just like when you first get your iPhone it’s nothing major. Also the watch just like iPhone have the IOS updates occasionally and that’s also nothing major, your watch will have to be on the charger and connect to some form of internet just as a iPhone would. Very easy
