The watch I bought allows me to answer my phone, view and respond to texts and email using Scribble. The only catch is that my iPhone has to be within range. I’ve gone about 50 feet from my phone and my watch will still receive calls. If you want total cellular without needing the phone nearby it costs you more for the watch and you have to pay monthly through a cellular service which is around $40 a month unless your provider cuts you a deal. I didn’t see any point in getting the cellular watch since my phone is either on my hip, in my pocket or backpack.
