A:AnswerYESSSS! I love that about it too because as a server i cant have my phone on me directly. Which is why i love this watch . If i misplace my phone or even if i go out of range your watch lets you know by having a red phone with a line through it. this has helped me at stores even .. i ca just ping the button on the watch an even if your phone is on silent it pings loudly regardless so noone can hide it or like if its under something you will hear it keep pinging !!! hope this helps
