“how can I see which watch faces are available and does the time of day stay visible at all times?”

• There is a section in settings, on the watch, where you select your different watch faces. You can browse these for previews. Also, in the watch app for iPhones, there is a larger selection of faces and face download options for preview, before you have the watch. Yes, the time is visible on every face I’ve seen. The time is one of, if not the only field visible when the watch is active. (Wrist raised, etc.)
