The LTE watch can allow you to text or call anyone from anywhere without your phone being on you. If you happen to leave your phone at home and you have your LTE watch, then you can stay in contact with people. I have the watch with just GPS, and I don’t tend to leave my phone at home but I can still contact and text people if my phone is with me. As long as your in the same house with your phone, you don’t need to bring it everywhere.

GPS means the watch has to be connected to your phone to function and have service. The cellular version also will cost you more each month to provide the independent service to the watch depending which company you have. It depends on your preference on using it. For instance if you leave your phone at home and have cellular on your watch you can still use your watch as a device without your phone. Compared to leaving your phone in your pocket/wallet or other room and you won’t have to pull out your phone if you are wearing your GPS version watch.
