• AT&T, Verizon and Sprint all have plans for Apple Watch (GPS/Cellular version). I'm sure other providers do also, just don't know myself. If you have the GPS only model Apple Watch, you do not need to connect it to a provider. It will handle calls and text messages via your iPhone, as long as its in range.

• Only for the lte version which is $10:00 a month for the gps version there is no monthly payment

• No. If you get the GPS + Cellular then yes. I just have the GPS one.
