In the paperwork included in the box it has a One Year Limited Warranty.

It is written in a very tiny font in light grey letters on a white sleeve like sheet containing watch instructions diagrams. It does not cover damage by an accident. For approved claims, Apple agrees to replace the watch or refund the monies. So, one needs to keep the receipt as proof of purchase.
