If you use the cellular connection or GPS on the watch extensively the battery will lose charge quickly, but for standard smart functions such as receiving and replying to text messages, emails, and social media notifications the battery life is excellent. As an example, I use my watch nightly for sleep tracking. When I wake up in the morning the battery is typically between 90-95% charge. I plug it in before I get into the shower and it's always at 100% when I leave for the day. It charges very quickly.
