• Unlocked refers to if it can be used with any carrier, let’s say you buy it from AT&T then you change plans or cancel. But you paid off your watch or did not. You have a locked watch only valid to AT&T, you can’t go to t-mobile and put it on the plan at all. Unless you unlock it first. A unlocked watch or phone is available to be put on any carrier plan.
