Might depend on where you live. I was able to order it online and pick it up in an hour on 10/6, in DE. I cancelled the order I had with apple from 9-25 since it still wouldn’t be available until the week of 10/23-10/30. I also ordered a 2nd one as a gift that was not available in the store and Best buy had it available to ship out in a few days vs weeks.
