The Series 4 Apple watch measures your heart rate and reports on 3 aspects of it: current heart rate, resting heart rate and walking heart rate average. There are other items that are monitored as well. You can see the 3 heart rate items on your watch and that and addition data can be viewed in the Health app on iPhone. You can configure alarms for both extended time high and low heart rates. I'd suggest reading up on watch on both the Best Buy and Apple websites. Remember, you must have a currently supported iPhone to view and store all the data from watch. Hope that helps and good luck.
