Yes I think so. I have had mine only about 3 weeks but it seems very durable. I have not played golf but I have been swimming laps twice with no issues.

Yes and if you want to record it as a walk, you can. Would recommend turning off auto fall detection when you play. It won’t reduce your handicap though
