I just bought the Series 4, upgrading my Series 0 Watch, and did not pay extra for cellular, mainly because I don't have an issue keeping my iPhone with me. If I ran and didn't want the extra weight, and still wanted to have access to digital and phone services, then cellular would be handy.

However, I can imagine that it would be nice to go for a run or walk without your phone and still be able to make a call, in an emergency, for example. I think it is a matter of whether it is worth the extra money to you. It was not worth it to me.

And if you have airpods the watch becoming a phone wherever you are. You just can't use it to do all your 'phone stuff' like checking facebook or logging into your bank... things you need a screen for.

Please try again later.All the features of your phone without having the phone with you so if your jogging and want to make a call you can do it doesn’t work for me as I almost always have my phone with me in my phone works with prepaid minutes I have no data plan so that’s why I don’t have the one with the cellular service
