Without a cellular connection, connected to your device via Bluetooth, approximately 10 meters. If you do set this model us with its own SIM card, you can be as far as you like.

It depends on the app you're using (assuming Apple Watch, version 4). Some older apps communicate through your iPhone to cellular towers and wifi routers while newer one go directly to towers and routers without using your iPhone. I imagine that soon most quality apps will cut out the iPhone.

You don't have to be next to your phone or iPad as long as the watch is connected to the internet, you can get text, email, music and everything else, except calls.

If you have GPS and cellular, your phone can be in Washington and you can be in Texas. Mines usually stays charged around 36 hours. I still use my phone a great deal so that conserves my watch battery.
