Yes. I have my iPhone X with Sprint and pair the Watch 4 to the iPhone. No problems.

You can use the watch with the WiFi systems or you can have a fully functional "watch-phone." I have Sprint, too. I chose to have a fully functional phone as well, with no contract. The fully functional (with or without Wifi cost 10 -15 dollars per month (depending on if you have automatic payments or not).

Yes. I have AT&T and bought two cellular capable watches without contracts. They pair just fine to the phone and also connect on WiFi.

Yes, but why buy the cellular model (more money) if your not going to use that feature?just get the one with GPS
