• For Apple Watch 5 (GPS), phone is needed. For Apple Watch 5 (GPS + Cellular), NO phone is needed.

• You need to be within 30 or so feet of your phone. This is the GPS version of the Series 5 Apple Watch. The text and phone features run through your iPhone only. There is a GPS + Cellular version that works without your iPhone. It also adds $10 per month to your cell phone bill.
