Yes, you can set fitness goals or daily goals to track through out the day and also go into Workout mode to track your exercise session separately.

You can set the calories you want to burn each day and the watch will give you updates throughout the day on your progress and a final report. In addition you can use your cell phone to analyze your daily, weekly activity. I would recommend the Apple Watch to anyone interested in improving their health and wellness.
