• Yes, you can set fitness goals or daily goals to track through out the day and also go into Workout mode to track your exercise session separately.

• Yes it does my fiancé has a 10,000 step goal each day and it tells her how many calories she burns and even senses when she starts her work out it can also be set to track your steps and distance for outside walks and more

• I don’t own a Fitbit but my Apple Watch 5 tracks calories and all your activity. You can set the calories you want to burn each day and the watch will give you updates throughout the day on your progress and a final report. In addition you can use your cell phone to analyze your daily, weekly activity. I would recommend the Apple Watch to anyone interested in improving their health and wellness.
