Hello,

If you have activated the cellular watch feature through your carrier, yes, it will work independently if you are away from your mobile phone. Otherwise, you would need to be near your mobile phone and connected to receive phone calls and text messages through your watch. Hope this helps.

Yes. I run outdoor and sometimes go to the store without my phone and still get phone calls/ texts/ notification and all.

If you don’t have cellular data activated on your watch it will only work if there’s WiFi and it’s at a certain distance from your phone, but it you have cellular it will work without your phone near.
