“Noticed your specs say battery is not replaceable. So does this mean after original battery goes bad, we have to throw it away and buy a new watch? If that’s the case - what is battery lifespan - don’t mean how long a charge lasts?”

My watch battery lasted 5 years. My Apple Care extended warranty had expired and the company brought out three new series and with the latest 2 WatchOS launches, they stopped making OS updates for my Series 1 watch. All of the Apple watches really a not easily repaired. Most are refurbished by the manufacturer. It was not worth it to me to keep my Series 1. A newly refurbished Series 1 can be had for $75-$90 Fyi, I am really a watch fan and love watches. A similar situation happened with my former exercise bestie, the Garmin 504.....battery issues and newer models with more features replacing it.
