• I have the GPS version. It is linked with my iPhone. You can set it to forward notifications for calls and texts. You can also receive and respond to text messages. If my phone is not near me my watch lets me know if someone calls or texts

• Yes you can receive calls text emails etc with the GPS version you just need your phone near by.
