Anyone can benefit from the watch. I'm not a fitness person either, but I find that I have become more active with the reminders and encouragement from the Activity app. Plus I am in a Heartline study where I get a watch for around $50. This is for people over 60, I'm glad I started being more active and it really isn't an extreme amount of moving around to be successful.
