I owned both. The 3 series battery doesn’t last as long and it doesn’t read your oxygen levels. The 3 series is a great watch too but if your a busy person like me, buy the 7 to keep a longer battery life

I couldn’t tell you since the 7 is the only one I’m familiar with. I do know that Apple is rendering it pretty much obsolete shortly and won’t be supporting any updates.

You will get heart rate monitoring and the option to select sim also available.  But it’s optional.
