• I owned both. The 3 series battery doesn’t last as long and it doesn’t read your oxygen levels. The 3 series is a great watch too but if your a busy person like me, buy the 7 to keep a longer battery life

• I couldn’t tell you since the 7 is the only one I’m familiar with. I do know that Apple is rendering it pretty much obsolete shortly and won’t be supporting any updates.
