• Yes it will pause. Not sure of the duration.

• The auto pause is nearly instant when it notices a stop in motion 1-2 seconds it alerts you and asks if you want to end workout if not then it picks back up when you do.

• The exercise pause kicks in within a few seconds of stopping. It works well from my experience.
