• Yes, the band comes detached from the watch face in the box. There's two buttons on the back to release it once installed. Bands made for 38, 40, and 41mm watches are interchangeable up to Series 9.

• Yes. The watch band that came with the watch was too big (my fault). So I’ve been using the bands from my series 3 Apple Watch that came from multiple places; Nike, Amazon, Epic, Temu, Target, etc.
