The watch case is titanium metal, and M/L refers to the size of the included band, meaning medium to large wrists. It fits my wrist just fine, and I'm not a particularly large man.

the titanium case is the outer area of the watch, you see the picture it looks like a silver, but not shiny, thats the titanium, feels like plastic. But it's sturdy .

M/L is the band size range for that particular strap (Medium to Large wrist).  There are also S/M bands.  The ranges overlap so you don’t need to be exact in sizing.

The size for some of the watches is referring to the band sizes. The actual watch body is the same thing. They will grab the band type and package it at the store. Some bands are one-size…a few are multi-size decisions when bought brand new.
My band would not fit my wrist if it was a large…so thankfully it came in S/M too. I hope this helps you decide.

The S/M and M/L refers to the band sizes. The watch is the same, just the band is different.
