I believe you can just add a line to the watch as it gives you the option for it. Keep in mind that some older models of the regular line of watches don’t include the option to add a line. it would probably say GPS only and will have to pay a bit more for the model that includes the cellular option. The Ultra 2 doesn’t have a cheaper model so the capability of adding a line is already built in but also not necessary I used it by pairing it to my phone.
