“does this watch need a different phone plan than my cellular phone??”

no but I do because of health problems. it can work off iPhone

You can add a separate cellular plan to your watch if you want but you don’t have to. I use mine without

It is not required as it can work through WiFi and by being at a close range to your phone, however you can add a cellular plan to the watch for it to then be able to use it independently without your phone needing to be by it.
