• I know if you’ve replaced a device with Apple care then you cannot apply Apple care into the replacement device. As for repurchasing; I know you can definitely extend it for I believe an extra year, however you’d probably have to bring your device into the Apple store for them to verify it’s in acceptable working condition prior to them allowing you to repurchase Apple care. Definitely recommend getting this answer from Apple instead of Best Buy.
