Can I buy this and add it onto my current phone? null

I answered this wuestion erroneously thinking it was referring to my macbook pro. If it is applecare there are certain restrictions on when it can apply to an existing device last time I checked, within 60 days of purchase date.

Assuming you also have an IPhone, you can connect your ICloud account to as many devices as you like. So if it is continuity, copy/paste, or getting facetime and IMessages yes.
