A:AnswerRead at the bottom of the X-men vs. SF product page on the Arcade1Up website where it says "Please note"... "Marvel vs Capcom™ is available from Best Buy."
A:AnswerIt is 'limited' in the sense that production of this particular cabinet was done for Best Buy only and a limited number were produced (it is claimed by Arcade1Up that it was a limited run and is no longer in production). It is unknown at this time if Best Buy will place another order or if Arcade1Up will even consider production (in the near future) since they have so many other products currently in the works (many which are to be released within the next several months). Certainly anything is possible but at this point it is not looking like these will be made available any time soon. These do not come with a numbered certificate like the Marvel Super Heroes: Special Edition (where 8000 units were produced).
A:AnswerThere is no current plan for a standard/base $299 version of this exact cabinet (like the units that WM sells in their USA stores). WM has the X-men vs Street Fighter base model for $299 (in store only).
A:AnswerThe retail box makes it very obvious what it is and when double boxed it still says what it is on the box (just not as obvious due to lack of full color images).
A:AnswerNo way of knowing how many will be available at retail but it is not claimed to be a limited edition cabinet. The only way to make sure you get one from the initial batch is to pre-order.
A:AnswerI initially asked the same question but this pre-order is for the MvC cabinet, if you look at the Arcade1Up website for X-Men vs. SF it says that Best Buy has MvC.
A:AnswerI got a direct answer from customer support and they told me they are having production issues with the online play and it’s quite not ready yet. I think and hope Dec 4th these should be ready to go. I pre ordered back in August... :(
A:AnswerThere are ways to do that with some aftermarket customization products but this is not an industrial grade product like what you would find in an Arcade from the 80's/90's.
A:AnswerBest Buy has removed the "SpecialEdition" specification and updated the 'Overview' to be more descriptive so it looks like it will NOT have Sanwa parts.
A:AnswerAccording to the recent update to the OVERVIEW here it does not have Sanwa sticks/buttons (it is no longer being listed as a 'Special Edition').
A:AnswerSpeculation but these will likely have limited availability for a while based upon Arcade1Up having trouble getting so many different products launched before Christmas (various cabinets... Buck Hunter, OutRun, too many versions of PacMan/Ms.PacMan and of course their delayed virtual pinball tables). The pandemic has had a significant impact on their business (just like most other industries).
