• Yes, it does show full screen when you are playing, just the like the original game. Maybe the in store display had an issue or a demo. But it is definitely full screen

• Depends on the game. Certain games are horizontal, leaving you with a good portion of the top and bottom cut off. Most games, thankfully are vertically oriented and fill the screen nicely.

• Besides the boarder which has graphics on it, the rest of the screen is playable. Mine works great.
