• According to the Arlo support site, you can. You need a hub to wirelessly connect the chime to and set it to be a siren vs chime. From there, program the camera to record, sound the siren.

• No, the chime is only activated when someone presses the doorbell, it sounds off. If you need a siren, you have to buy a siren which will allow you to activate the alarm depending upon how you program the setting and you can activate via your phone.
