Do you need a SD card to retrieve 24 hour footage null

The individual cameras do not have an option for this. Possibly for an optional home base/hub. Arlo paid service is worth it. Especially if you find their frequent deals on the app.

You can utilize an SD Card to record locally to your Arlo Smart Hub or Base Station. CVR is not available with the Arlo Essential cameras.
