• No. The battery in the Essential is not removable like the Pro. The Essential uses a micro USB to charge the fully integrated battery. Completely different setup.

• The Arlo Essential Spotlight Camera comes with a non-removal internal battery. The internal battery is not the same as the Arlo Pro 2.
