My understanding is Arlo is going out of business...a spin-off from Netgear. Best Buy sales was not helpful in telling me whether or not this was a good system for me. I don't think the tech really knew whether or not it would work. It didn't. Apparently too many signals in this area, not a strong enough router (even though I can get on the internet in the front of the house on my cell phone and my laptop....out in the middle of the street) Arlo Spotlight Wireless was the purchase. Don't think you should rely on Best Buy to help you unless maybe you use one of their installers and they install it withing the 15 day return policy to make sure it works by then. I didn't use their installers because at the time I didn't know they did their own installers and I didn't find one that was familiar with this system soon enough to know one way or the other whether it would work. Had to take it back and only got store credit. Bummer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When purchasing an Arlo kit locally, the contents of the kit are designed to work in the region in which they are purchased. We do not recommend purchasing an Arlo kit in one country and then attempting to set it up and use it in another due to potential incompatibility of the included equipment. ^KN
