I don't think you can with the essential. Arlo Ultra, Arlo Pro 2, Arlo Q, Arlo Q Plus, and Arlo Baby cameras are capable of recording non-stop to the cloud. To enable your cameras to record 24/7, you need to purchase a continuous video recording (CVR) plan for each Arlo Ultra, Arlo Pro 2, Arlo Arlo Q, Arlo Q Plus, or Arlo Baby camera.

The Arlo Essential Spotlight Cameras have a 30-minute live streaming limit. If you view a stream for longer than 30 minutes, the Arlo Secure App will stop streaming. To resume the stream, simply press the play button again.
