Connecting the doorbell to a Base Station or Smart Hub so that you can utilize the Local Storage is planned in a future firmware update. Currently the doorbell connects directly to your router and does not have access to the Base Station or Smart Hub.

After the included 3-month trial of Arlo Smart, users can continue storing their videos in the cloud with a paid subscription, which they can view from anywhere through the Arlo App.
