QuestionWhat is the maximum distance you can have the camera from the base? We would like to have cameras on the house and a pole barn that is approximately 200’ from out house. Would the camera be able to work properly on the barn?

- Answer I had a 10 year old dual band WiFi.. was working OK, bought I decided to purchase a new dual band WiFi NetGear AC1750, have a camera about 75 feet with no issue. I let the cameras and doorbell have one band and have all our wireless devices on the second band. Seems flawless.

- Answer I have it set to both. iPad and iPhone. You can also adjust the sensitivity so you aren’t getting alerts every time the wind blows. :)

- Answer Our house is approx 2250sq ft- the base is on one side of the house & our furthest cam is outside on the other side & it's connectivity is weak- only 2-3 bars out of 5.

- Answer No, but saying that... if you have more than one base you can sync the camera to any one of them on any network that has internet.

QuestionHow long do these stay charged with a pretty decent amount of foot traffic ?

- Answer I have one camera facing the driveway and just so happens to catch daily traffic on the corner. There are cars coming and going all hours of the day so this camera gets lots of movement. It's looking like I may have to recharge the battery every 3-4 months. My main camera, at my front door is still at full battery. This one picks up a windchime daily. So it really depends on the amount of foot traffic.

- Answer You can but you wont be able to get a good angle because the bracket doesnt let you have a 90° angle. It will be mostly pointed downwards

- Answer yes it compatible, i noticed a glitch however; when we schedule it with smart things the device seems disarmed and i couldnt delete the devices from smart things. ended up deleting it from arlo and able to recover.
