“What happens if someone steals the camera, (since it’s magnetic) will I have to purchase another one? Or can I call and get it replaced? Will they be able to track down the stolen camera?”

For outdoor mounting, we recommend using the outdoor mount. Also, you may check this program that Arlo is offering for supported stolen cameras : https://kb.arlo.com/000056563. ^RM
