Since this comes with only one camera, is the system expandable? Can I start with this and add more cameras to it when/if I find a need to? If so, how many is the controller able to handle? null

Yes you can add more arlo pro cameras to this system and you can have up to five cameras working without an added fee. You may also add more than five cameras but will need to pay a small monthly or one time fee annually in order to use the extended camera system(more than five). I bought the camera system with the cameras it came with then bought 2 more to add to it. I’m not to sure how many you can connect to the base but right now I have 5 connect to the base and have had no issues.
